As part of our licence agreement, we are asked to cite REDCap in any publications resulting from projects which have used it for data collection and management
Conditions of use
The CAM:IDE instance of REDCap (University of Cambridge) is hosted by the High Performance Computing (HPC) platform, which is part of the University High Performance Computing Group. Usage of REDCap therefore requires adherence to the policies and rules of the Information Services Committee
The REDCap Administrator provides a secure and stable platform for project teams to collect and manage their non-identifiable research data. Responsibility for all aspects of a study, including the use of the REDCap facility, remains with the Principle Investigator at all times
Governance surrounding research data can be complex, and careful consideration of the various guidelines and policies is recommended: University of Cambridge Research Data Management & School of Clinical Medicine Information Governance

Types of REDCap Projects
There are several flavors of REDCap projects to choose from as you begin thinking about building your own project. Each type of project has its advantages and disadvantages, and may fit the specific needs better of one type of project over another.
